Trumpeter clock
Clocks that imitate a trumpeter instead of a cuckoo were mainly built in the Black Forest in the second half of the 19th century. The watch shown comes from Furtwangen.
Movement: Skeletonized brass movement with Black Forest hook walk. Hour and half hour strike on gong with simultaneous trumpet signal. Two trumpets with bellows on each side. Weight lift via chains.
Case: Brown wooden case with pillars on the side. Dial with Roman hours made of bone. Roof top is missing. Cut-out decorations and decorations on the base and on both sides.
