Lacquer shield clock with sentinel
Movement: Wooden movement with bar plates, brass spindle gear train with Black Forest hook gear and internal anchor shaft. Walking and percussion mechanisms arranged next to each other. Weight lift via chains. Long brass pendulum. Hollow weights. The bell strikes the hour in front of the back wall. Back wall marked No '1'.
Shield: Slightly curved arched shield. The painted dial with Roman hours framed on the side with blue columns and flower garlands. A painted stylized barracks in the arch. In front of it is a brick balustrade with a watchtower and a cannon. The sentinel marches back and forth on the balustrade.
Hands: Black Forest brass hands.
