Cuckoo clock with carillon
The large Black Forest clock is made of dark soft wood. Below the depiction of two deer, flanked by fir trees, ferns and oak leaves, above two large eagles. The weights are in the shape of a pine cone. The dial is turned from light wood and has white Roman numerals. The clock has a cuckoo and a musical mechanism. The right door opens every half hour to a cuckoo call, the left door opens every hour on the hour for a music-making monkey who alternately plays “Die Mühle im Schwarzwald” and “Die Holzhackerbuben”.
