Movement: Wooden studwork with bar plates. Wooden spindle gear train with Black Forest hook gear and internal anchor shaft. Iron traps and bell urchins. Walking and percussion mechanisms arranged one behind the other. Weight lift via chains. Long pendulum. The bronze bell strikes the hour followed by the ringing of the Angelus.
Shield: Slightly curved arched shield, painted with a chapel in the upper part. The dial with Roman hours is framed by two painted blue columns with garlands of flowers. In the opening of the chapel there is a carved Capuchin who rings the Angelus prayer at 6 a.m. in the morning, 12 p.m. at noon and 6 p.m. in the evening, each time after the hour strikes.
Hands: Typical Black Forest brass hands.
Manufacture: 1st half of the 19th century
