Two oil bowls are embedded in a board. The image of a pendulum (for large clocks) is in the lid of one bowl, the image of a wheel is imprinted in the lid of the other (wheel oil, small clocks). Oilbers are stored in the longitudinal groove.
With the oil carrier, a small amount of watch oil is placed on the friction point to be lubricated. Watch oils have great inner tension so that they do not run wide, have good adhesion, low viscosity and high pressure resistance. They must not be canceled, must be temperature -resistant and aging resistant as well as chemically neutral and acid -free against materials.
