Grinding machine

Grinding machine
A grinding machine was a grinding device in the 19th century, which was particularly used in watchmaking. It consisted of a pane of 3–12 inch diameter, which was provided with oil and floodplain on one side. On the other hand, it could be inserted into a hollow spindle of a lathe via a load -bearing stem and turned quickly. Small objects could now be sanded on the side of the grub.
