Border with inlaid wood and mother-of-pearl, enamelled dial with blue cartouches. Iron work, strike on gong.

Such clocks were also known as "ox eyes" and were often used in the offices of the employees - the "Comptoir". A place that was used for calculating wages on the one hand, but also for the penalties if a worker was late.
