Farmer's ring with month, inscription on the outside: "J F M A M J - J A S O N D", inside: "4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8". Middle ring with hole can be rotated; the hole can be set as precisely as possible to the date. The lifting eyelet is movable so that the geographical latitude can be adjusted from 10 to 90 degrees. You move the center marking of the hanger to the appropriate latitude and the movable center slide so that the hole points to the date. The sundial is hung freely on the eyelet and rotated so that a ray of sunlight falls through the hole onto the inside and the corresponding month line. The hours can be read off the diagonal hour lines.
